Hanna Somatics is a rapidly effective form of mind body re-education developed from Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique. Slow and gentle movement with awareness helps the brain to sense and organise the muscles and movement. This helps the body to reset postural balance and helps in recovery from chronic pain, stress and injury and works as a great foundation for deepening and exploring yoga posture practice.
I am trained to Level I with Align Somatics and regularly weave these ideas into movement practice.
Hanna Somatics is greatly facilitated with hands on support and clear anatomical direction and palpation in private sessions.
